The possibilities are endless

There are thousands of stories to tell in any given photo library, and even more ways to collate them. Popsa’s Memories could combine people and places (every time you visited the city with your dad), places and time (going back to the same place each summer), or even all three (your partner by the beach, over five years). Our AI could find threads like these and turn them into dedicated albums, ready to print in a few taps.

We want to experiment further with bringing people’s photo libraries to life through different lenses. Imagine receiving an album exclusively containing all your photos of dogs, or a collection of pictures you’ve taken with yellow as the predominant colour. This thematic organisation would be a completely new way to experience your memories – connecting you to the moments that matter in even more detail.

What’s next

Popsa is planning to develop a mini-franchise that aims to pick out the best individual photos in your library. This could be: the top 10 mountains, your most beautifully composed photos or simply the most interesting pictures you’ve taken. Even if you have a limited amount of photos on your camera roll, these selections will give you an album to relive in tangible form.

As Memories evolves, we want you to be able to personalise your experience even more. We’re planning to add features that allow you to favourite and hide the Memories you receive, like photos of an ex or upsetting memories, so you can access the chapters of life you love most at greater speed. Deeper storytelling is an area we continually develop too. Additions like this mini-franchise will help you to bring specific parts of your memories to life in vivid detail – all at your fingertips.
