Katie Hale is a novelist, poet and member of the Polar Artists Collective. She has written for National Geographic Traveller, Backstory and Creative Tourist, and mentors emerging writers through the Writing Squad. Her most recent novel, The Edge of Solitude, is set in Antarctica.
